Merida Dakar 670

A Dakar 670 that spent most of its life on a rack in a cellar in Trondheim, ridden hard for two seasons and then forgotten for twenty-five years. The paint had survived better than anything else on it.

Everything that turns or stops was replaced. The frame was cleaned, waxed and left alone. The red is original, and it is the reason this bike is worth building at all.
