The Shed
Old frames, mostly steel, mostly from the nineties.
There are a lot of good frames out there doing nothing. Hanging in garages, leaning behind sheds, listed for the price of a takeaway because the gears skip and the tyres have gone hard. Most of them were built to outlast the parts hung on them, and most of them still have decades left in them.
That is the whole idea here. Find a frame worth keeping, strip it back, and build it up with parts that make sense now. Wider tyres. Brakes that stop. Gearing for gravel rather than for a race nobody is riding any more. Keep the paint if the paint is worth keeping. Patina is not damage.
Nothing here is mass produced. Builds come a few at a time, and every one ends up different, because every frame arrives with its own history and its own limits. That is the interesting part. Not making them new again, but working out what each one still wants to be.
